No meat dishes or desserts before we leave for Christmas holidays? Getting up a little earlier or staying up a little later for some silent time? (Wow - how grateful am I that we have these CHOICES! So many do not.) I'll be reading a book this Advent that my mom gave me last year entitled "The Meaning is in the Waiting" (Paula Gooder). Just a few more days...Can't wait!<br />*ugh. The first thing I usually do when I wake up in the morning is check twitter and facebook. It's not prayer. It's not reading scripture. It's checking social media.
